Presley Cottage - 2002

Rather than tear down a 600 square
foot 50’s summer fishing shack, this
one story building was stripped to the
basic structure and rebuilt as a
year-round residence. The cottage is
now a grand 773 square foot, with 2
bedrooms and even a kids’ loft over
the lake porch. Inspired by a pool
pavilion in the Hamptons, the building
style is a shingle-Greek revival blend.
This cottage uses all of the tricks to
make it feel bigger than it is. And it
lives large. This cottage was built by
Todd & Floyd Wright Builders of
Boyne City MI.
